Berlin, Germany

I don’t know if it is just me or something else, but gray clouds and chilly weather welcomed me to Germany once again. It seems like every time I come, I land in the middle of gloomy autumn. However, at least for a few moments during this trip, sun rays came through the thick blanket of clouds above us. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised with Berlin. Somehow I never had a special desire to visit this place. I guess it is when you don’t expect much, that you receive the most. Even though I really had only one afternoon for some sightseeing, it was a very nice peak at what this metropolis has to offer. Amazing array of arts, beautiful buildings with a remarkable architecture and tiny rivers cutting through the hearth of the city really put Berlin on the top of my list when it comes to places in Germany. I hope one day I get a chance to come back again and take in the beauty of this old capital and the intriguing history concealed within it.
