Niagara Falls, Buffalo, NY
My Dad always dreamed of visiting Niagara Falls, so when some business meetings came along I was able to take him with me to see one of the Nature's wonders. I have been all over this Globe and have seen many amazing things but seeing the Falls and the sheer power of Nature was just beyond fascinating. It was a chilly, grey day, but nothing could dampened the enthusiasm and smile on my Dad's face :-) which was priceless to me...we took the Maid of the Mist straight into the belly of the Falls and those few minutes standing on the boat, just meters away from the white curtain of water falling from the sky was far beyond anything that can be put in words...it is one of those things that you just have to experience...you hold on to the railing, mist falling on your face, thunderous sounds travelling through your ears, cold air filling your nose drills, as you watch in the amazement....the Falls touch every single one of your senses...we underestimate the Nature so often and every now and then it is good to be reminded of its power and the beauty at the same time :-) We also visited the monument to Nikola Tesla, the greatest Serbian mind of all time which was very special...All in all, it was an incredible day and being able to share it with my Dad made it even more special...definetely one of those that will be etched in my memory forever...I can not wait to visit again with my whole family...will just have to wait for a few more degrees on the thermometer :-) And by the way, we saw Bills beat the Chargers too, but that now seems so small in the scheme of all things :-)
