Istanbul, Turkey

I really needed this week of rest in Istanbul :-) After all the craziness at work, thousands and thousand of miles flown over the last few months, nameless hotels and interstates, it felt so nice to just relax and spend some time with people I consider part of the family...It was so wonderful to spend the Holidays with Mario and his family, they always make you feel like you are at home :-) Weather did not cooperate too much, lots of rain and grey skies, which actually turned out to be a blessing, since I was able to just relax, sleep, eat (a lot) and just hang out with Mario, Raqel, Ankica and Drago...lots of movies and wii games (hopefully Raqel you will get at least a little bit better by the next time we play :-)) We spent the Christmas in family atmosphere with Ankica's home meals and cookies, just a perfect intro for the New Year waiting around the corner...
