Copacabana Beach, Australia

When I first arrived to Sydney, I actually only knew one single person in it. Which was a big change for me considering I am fortunate enough to have friends in most of the places around the globe. My friend Kristina, who lives in Paris, introduced me to Richard and Lucy, a wonderful couple who have been so welcoming and hospitable during my first days (and after) in a new country. Amongst other things, they invited me for a weekend gateway with some of their friends at Copacabana Beach, couple of hours north from Sydney. For some odd reason, we did not even get a picture together, but did however get a bunch of their daughter Delilah. She is the cutest one out of all of us anyhow!

Settling at work and trying to absorb all the new things had my head spinning and this weekend came at the perfect time. Little, peaceful town, and some wonderful, funny people around me was just what I needed. Add to that waking up each morning to the wild birds song and playful parrots chasing each other through the yard, sun and the waves, and I am already sold on the Australian life style. Paradise found!
